Terms of Service

Grade 6 Head Start (“the Service”) is an independent online learning program operated from British Columbia, Canada. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or accredited by any ministry of education, state department of education, school board, or school district.

You must be an adult parent or guardian to create an account. One account represents one family and covers one learner. You are responsible for keeping your password and your Parent Zone PIN confidential and for all activity under your account.

A card is required at signup. The first week is a free preview. If you do not cancel before the preview ends, your card is charged $49 once, plus applicable taxes, for 12 months of access. There are no refunds after the free preview ends.

• A valid payment method is required to start the free preview.
• The free preview lasts 7 days from signup.
• If you have not cancelled before the preview ends, you are charged $49 CAD one time, plus applicable taxes.
• That charge grants access for 12 months from the date of the charge. Access does not roll over into a following year; continuing after that term requires a new purchase.
• Returning families may be offered a reduced renewal price. Any such discount is offered at our discretion and is not guaranteed.
• Prices are shown in Canadian dollars, or in US dollars for customers in the United States. Prices are shown before tax. Sales tax (GST/HST/PST, state sales tax, or VAT) is calculated at checkout based on your billing address and collected and remitted by our payment provider, Paddle, as merchant of record. The exact total is shown before you confirm payment.

You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancelling during the free preview stops the upcoming charge and ends access at the end of the preview. Cancelling after the charge stops any future billing and keeps your access until the end of the paid 12 months term.

We do not offer refunds after the free preview ends. The free preview exists so you can evaluate the Service before paying. If you believe you were charged in error, email us at nextgradereadyadmin@gmail.com and we will review it.

Lesson content is based on general Grade 6 learning expectations commonly used across Canada and the United States. It is a supplement, not a substitute for schooling, and we make no guarantee of any particular academic outcome. Some lessons link to third-party videos and websites that we do not control.

You may use the Service for your own family's personal, non-commercial use. You may not resell, redistribute, scrape, or republish the content, share your account with other families, or attempt to interfere with the Service or access other families' data.

All lesson text, question banks, layouts, and branding are owned by the operator of the Service. Printed or downloaded materials are licensed for your family's personal use only.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms. You may delete your account at any time; deleting your account ends access immediately and does not trigger a refund.

The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

We may update these terms. Material changes to billing will be communicated by email before they take effect. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict of law rules.
